Different Forms of Ornamental Grasses

Most ornamental grass structures fall into six different categories, which are listed below.

Tufted	Foliage is spiky with upright leaves
Mounded	Blades are limp and mound equally over on all sides
Upright	Blades stick straight up
Upright Divergent	Blades are straight and spread outward
Upright Arching	Blades are straight at the bottom and become limp on the ends
Arching	Foliage arches up and out on all sides, from bottom to top
